Ending off with our final set of Kaleidoscope soloists for 2026, we have Kallie McLaughlin and her group performing Don't Stop Believing on Friday and Kaitlyn D. Taylor performing The Struggles of a Mixed Girl on Saturday.

Performances are May 15th and 16th at the Valentine Theatre and tickets are available on the Valentine Theatre website or by calling 419-242-2787.

This dance choreographed by Kallie McLaughlin is about average people going about their daily lives, all connected by their passions and values while maintaining that desire to achieve the American dream. Though times can be tough, the instinct that people have to come together and be support systems for each other.

Kaitlyn: I was born and raised here in Toledo, OH. I found my love for the Arts at a young age and I
never stopped growing as an artist. My love for poetry bloomed once I came to TSA as a
student, and ever since, I’ve been writing like a madman, in hopes to speak nothing but my truth
with the language for passion.

When Toledo School for the Arts students step onto the Historic Valentine stage, it is never “just” a school performance.

Kaleidoscope is a showcase of emerging artists presenting their work in a professional theatre where generations of legendary performers have stood before them. For many of these seniors, this is not the end of something. It is the beginning.

And Toledo should pay attention.

Just two months ago, TSA graduate Trevor Gill-Snow returned to the Valentine stage as the co-lead in The Simon & Garfunkel Story. Years earlier, he performed here as a student, too.. The next artist taking a bow at Kaleidoscope may someday return the same way.

At the Valentine, we do not take these performances lightly. This stage has always belonged to rising stars as much as established, legendary ones.

Please help us welcome TSA artists to our stage this weekend. Bravi!👏

Get ready for the Kaleidoscope soloists for 2026! Starting off strong we have Troy Harris performing Carnival on Friday and Lucy Sauer and Wil Hunt performing America on Saturday

Performances are May 15th and 16th at the Valentine Theatre and tickets are available on the Valentine Theatre website or by calling 419-242-2787

Troy Harris is a senior at Toledo School for the Arts. He came here in 9th grade to pursue his passion for guitar. He and his best friend Jayden started a band, and made this song after being inspired by the level “Dark Carnival” from their favorite game, Left 4 Dead 2

Lucy and Wil: As cousins, we’ve been making music together for as long as we can remember. Singing and playing has always been part of who we are, so we wanted to take this opportunity to share a song for one of our final performances together. We’ve been playing it since sixth grade, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we’ve loved performing it over the years
