Cost management offers three strategies: cost cutting, cost improvement and cost management. Cost cutting is often the first choice of district chief financial officers but rarely the best unless it's informed by analytics. Cost improvement focusses on improving the efficiency or productivity of a service or program and thereby reducing the cost. Cost management focuses on setting spending or cost targets and staying focused on cost targets.

We are finally back on Facebook after a several year hiatus. We stopped updating Facebook as the full impact of Covid became known and it was clear that school leaders did not have the time or energy for new technology projects. I decided at that time to invest our time and resources to adding new features and capabilities to our Discover product platform. I will be using Facebook to keep our clients an potential customers up to speed with the last, current and future changes and enhancements.
