Summer Camp means lots of fun and activity at the Catholic Club! Our indoor POOL provides great fun and lots of smiles as well as pool and water safety! Today is the kickoff for the pool opening for the summer for children enrolled in our programs!

We are excited to welcome back one of our absolutely favorite lifeguards and friends - Dawn!

As you can see in these pictures, the children are having a blast!

Thank you to the apprentice crew and their instructors from the Northwest Ohio Carpenters’ JATC! They did an amazing job! We really can't thank them enough! Our gazebo is now up and ready for the Catholic Club children to enjoy!

Another big thank you to Roxanne, Catholic Club team member, who facilitated this project for us in conjunction with United Way!

We are so grateful to have an amazing group helping us today~

This group of carpentry apprentices and their leaders from Northwest Ohio Carpenters’ JATC are assembling a large pavillion that will provide a shaded outdoor activity area for the children in our programs!

Teacher Appreciation Week!

Thank you to all of our amazing teachers! Special surprises have been planned daily to celebrate our teachers! Featured here are some of our wonderful teachers and more will be posted tomorrow! We are blessed to have such caring and dedicated teachers! THANK YOU!

Excitement in our Preschool classroom recently! Teacher Ms. Christina explains:
"Here are some pictures from preschool this week. We have been talking about seeds this week. We had an Imagination Station lesson with all materials provided by them. This weeks lesson was on plants…we had a focus on lima beans for the activities. We dissected a lima bean using soaked lima beans, toothpicks, and magnifying glasses. The children had a lot of fun in their exploration of lima beans. We also are trying to grow lima beans in plastic bags in our windows. We also created bean mosaics, we discussed the parts of a plant and foods we eat that are those parts. We finished our week off by taste testing foods that have seeds. The kids tried: avocados, orange bell pepper, apples, mangoes, and finally cantaloupe. In our food taste test we examined the different types of seeds that each one had….and found that seeds come in all shapes and sizes! As far as their food we tried-apples were hands down favorite."
