Welcome to spring break! Here is what the Rocket Battalion has been up to.

In photos 1-5 the cadets fought the cold again and completed another mission. Each cadet refined and demonstrated their skills while successfully completing a Raid. In photos 6-10 the cadets adventured outdoors to enhance their master of military leadership with that week’s lab. Their mission was to conduct an ambush and take the enemy by surprise. Each cadet met and exceeded expectations, showing expertise and willingness to learn.

Good afternoon everyone, during the previous week our cadets got to prove their knowledge and test their resilience. Despite the extreme cold and the piled up snow the cadets prevailed and completed the mission.

This week we would like to highlight a cadet that has demonstrated exemplary character at last week’s lab. CDT Grime showed this character by exceeding expectations through bringing extra winter weather equipment for his fellow cadets. Demonstrating what it means to be a leader.

Good afternoon everyone, I hope that everyone’s week has been well. This week the cadets have delved into labs and are putting their knowledge to the test. With that in mind let us look at the previous week and see how they prepared themselves. We can see cadets training on more squad tactics along with sharping their knowledge on land navigation.

Looking back on the previous week, the Rocket Battalion had the honor and privilege to speak to LTC Eric Alfsen. He taught our cadets great wisdom and knowledge to tackle the semester and take on army life with great strength. Also included are photos of our cadets training on Squad Battle Drills to ready themselves mentally for the various labs this semester.

Rocket Battalion had the privilege of honoring our fallen this past weekend at the 9/11 memorial. While we may be many years removed from the tragedy, the memory of those who lost their lives remains. Never Forget.
