Meal time or sensory play? 🤣 Around here it’s usually both! Messy eating may look chaotic, but it’s actually an important part of early childhood development. Babies learn through touching, squishing, smelling, tasting, and exploring different textures with their hands and faces. These experiences help build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, independence, and healthy relationships with food. So yes… the yogurt ends up everywhere except the spoon sometimes but every messy moment is a learning moment!
At our center, we embrace the mess because little hands learn best through play, exploration, and experience.

Behind every smile, every milestone, and every hug is a bond built on trust, love, patience, and care.
At our center, our teachers don’t just educate they nurture, comfort, encourage, and become a safe place for each child. The relationships we build with our students are truly special, and watching them grow feels like family.

We have a case of midweek slump in our toddler room!
Do we consider the week half full or half empty? Remember, it’s all about perspective!

I think that we can all agree that this is a pretty impressive Lego dog! Good work, dude! You might think this is just play but it’s so much more than that. Through building, children develop spatial awareness, problem-solving skills, and creativity, while also improving hand-eye coordination and finger strength.

Kids are messy… but that’s how they learn! Let them make a mess. That mess is temporary but the memories are forever. The children were surprised to see their teacher dump a puddle of glue onto the floor to make slime. The room was filled with giggles and curiosity. That was all the confirmation that we needed to realize that THIS is exactly how core memories are made and we’re hopeful that many years down the road this will be a story they tell. Also check out that impressive SpongeBob glob!

Nothing excites children more than unplanned matching outfits! ADORABLE!

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to our staff. They show up daily for our children and I can truly say that they treat every child like their own. They have shown amazing dedication and kindness to every student and I couldn’t be prouder to have them as my team.

At Little Sprouts Academy we understand that communication comes in many different forms and it looks different for all kiddos. This little guy here has made us proud beyond measure. He may not tell us “I love you” verbally but he will tell us in other ways. He tapped me on my back and when I turned he pointed at a heart that he made out of blocks. What is more rewarding than that? Communication is valid and important whether through speech, gestures, sign language, or AAC devices, honoring diverse, non-verbal, or neurodivergent communication styles.
