Bedford hosted the annual FIRST Tech Challenge qualifier this Saturday. All (5) teams from Bedford Junior High School (Loose Screws, Bionic Broncos, FLAG Fight Like A Girl, Turning Gears and Classical Engineers) competed in the 36-team event. The event was successful and the robotics program would like to thank all of the event volunteers. Nearly 100-volunteers are needed to run this event. We also need to thank the families that prepared meals for the volunteers and the business that donated food and drinks.

We competed in our first qualifier at Bedford yesterday, and it was a truly wild ride with an incredible ending! Long story short, we started the day ranked 30/36 after losing our first two matches and spent the rest of the day fighting like a girl all the way back up... to the championship match!! We ended the day as the 2nd place finalist alliance and qualified for states for the 3rd year in a row!
Thank you to our alliance partners 14790 Coding Cobras for selecting us to join you in the playoffs--we made a great team!
