Join us in congratulating Rejina Shrestha, a Ph.D. candidate in the Cell and Cancer Biology Track, who was selected to represent UToledo and competed in the regional Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition on March 27, in Kansas City, Missouri. 👏 👏👏
She competed with 48 participants from universities across the Midwest and was among the Top 10 finalists.
Her presentation, “A Combination Strategy: Exploiting Copper Overload by Inhibiting HSF1 to Target Pancreatic Cancer,” showcased her innovative research in Dr. Kuo-Hui Su’s laboratory. Hosted by Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS), the 3MT is an academic competition that challenges graduate students to describe their research to a general audience in just three minutes.
