🚧UPT RESURFACING STARTS WED AT SECOR
Expect rolling closures with crews closing one section of the University Parks Trail at a time between intersections or pins on the map. When they are finished with one section, they will reopen, move west onto the next section and close that and so forth.
📆This week, crews will start on the trail between Secor Rd and Richard’s Rd on Wednesday, Aug. 26, with crack sealing. Crack sealing the entire UPT should be complete by the end of the week. When crews reached the portion from Holland Sylvania Rd to McCord Rd, they will also be completing some small pavement repairs.
👷‍♂️ Next week, crews will begin resurfacing work, once again starting at Secor and moving west. Expect daily closures one section at a time until resurfacing is complete. Closure signs will be posted near the public entrances to each section.
We can’t give exact time periods when each section will be closed because it’ll depend how long it takes them to complete their work. So trail users should be prepared to encounter closures at different times on different days.
