As part of our initiative to highlight the teaching profession and remove barriers to becoming a teacher, the Regional Office of Education #11 is excited to grant assistance to inspire future educators and provide them a pathway to pursue their passion for educating future generations. We are offering two $1000 grants to high schools toward their future teacher organizations/clubs as they work to increase interest in the profession, and possibly "grow their own" future teachers. Interested high schools must complete the grant application form with their principal and submit it to our office by Friday, April 5th.

Recognizing that teachers are an important investment! With this being said, it is hopeful that the Governor considers the proposal to pay student teachers (especially when their program is highly discouraging students to work while student teaching).
