WHY DO I GET SO ANGRY??

What would happen if you stopped feeling guilty about getting angry, and started to ask yourself WHY you feel angry?

Anger is not an emotion. It is the RESPONSE to what emotions you have pent up.

You don't need to look at your own anger as another failure.

Look, I get it! After I get angry, I feel guilt for being mad. I feel mad that I allowed myself to get angry.

Its a vicious cycle.

"Why can't I just stop getting angry at this stupid stuff? Why can other people do this without getting frustrated, and I can't?"

Instead, next time you get angry, ask yourself what EMOTIONS you are feeling at that moment.

What needs do you have that are not currently being met?

What is the source of those emotions?

It has nothing to do with the people that are on the receiving end of that anger. This has everything to do with the emotion that triggered this response.

There is NOTHING wrong with you. There is an emotional need that needs addressed.

Learning how to meet that emotional need, will allow you to control those moments of frustration and anger better next time.

And it will eventually get easier. Anger is an opportunity to look inward and heal. It is an act of self care and self preservation.

5 days to Stronger self-confidence.

People tell me all the time. "Krisi, I WISH that I had your confidence."

Good news. I wasn't inherently born with this confidence. I didn't have an upbringing that fostered the confidence I now possess.

I fought for it. I earned it. I LEARNED how to love myself.

The best part about finding your own confidence, is how much easier it is to see the greatness in those around you.

When you feel amazing, you notice others in their awesomeness.
