Toledo Potters' Guild Welcome to the Toledo Potters' Guild page! The goal of the Toledo Potters' Guild is to educate its members and the general public.

To meet this goal, the Guild has undertaken several ongoing objectives:

1.To foster an appreciation and understanding of ceramic arts in the general public by presenting exhibitions,
workshops, classes and sale of members' works.
2.To support and provide for members' artistic and professional development through workshops, exhibitions and educational programs.
3.To provide a fully functioning studio for members and for the public via classes.

Now is your chance! We are accepting New Member Applications September 7–14.

Applications can be found on our website, with the link in the comments.

📅 Application & Jury Piece Drop-Off: September 7–14
📍 Building 6, the mint green Toledo Potters’ Guild building at the park
⏰ Drop-offs can be made anytime the park is open.

If no one is at the building when you arrive, just send us a message and we’ll make arrangements to meet you.

Second Saturday Artist Village at Toledo Botanical Garden is here! We have a demo going on at the guild today with some members participating in a carving workshop being put on by our very own Steve Broseke.

And our Seconds Scavenger Hunt has begun. We have 5 items out in the Artist Village. See pictures below for hints on where they are at. Everything should be accessible from normal walking paths. Happy hunting!

Reminder that it’s Second Saturdays tomorrow. It starts at 11am. We will be making bee/pollinator cups at the guild and will have our first Seconds Scavenger Hunt. We will post photos shortly before it starts to give hints on where the pieces are. Looking forward to seeing everyone out at the park tomorrow!

This upcoming weekend is the second weekend of the month so you know what that means: Second Saturdays! Stop out to the Artist Village at Toledo Botanical Garden to see what everyone is up to. At the Potters’ Guild, we will 2 activities going on open to the public.

First, we will be making pollinator/bee cups that will end up getting placed throughout the Botanical Garden. Stop by the guild to make. (Examples in pictures below)

And we are trying something new this summer: “Seconds” Saturdays Scavenger hunt. There will be a small selection of Seconds, made by potters at the guild, placed throughout the park for people to find and keep. We will post clues and more information here on Facebook, Saturday morning to help you find the pieces.
