GRRRRRRR - the preschool is closed today.

Ugh! For the third day this week, the weather is impacting the children being at preschool. Currently, Fairgreen is on a 3 hour delay. Please follow Washington Local School's weather related school delays/closings. Often a delay will change to a close, stay informed.

The cold temperatures had the preschool closed today, January 16th, and we will be closed tomorrow, January 17th. A reminder that we follow the decision made by Washington Local. Fingers crossed we will see the girls and boys on Thursday.

For decades Amelia, Rex, Hairy and other puppets have helped the preschoolers experience some of the best early childhood lessons. Lessons about kindness, sharing, listening, bravery, silliness, curiosity, friendship and on and on and on. Their home is a magic basket and their captive audience are 3, 4 and 5 year olds. Amelia, Rex and Hairy have been a part of Fairgreen longer then ANYONE, so it just seems right to let their notoriety shine. Happy Thursday! Mother Nature interrupted preschool all of Wednesday and Thursday morning. I've seen some delightful pictures of the children playing in the snow and I love it!!! Not the snow, the pictures. I'm more about sunshine and a beach chair. Two or three times this year, a memo explaining our weather related closing policy has been sent home. I will send it again next Monday and Tuesday, January 30th and 31st. Read it and safe it. It is useful information for the preschool families. A reminder that Monday and Tuesday are PJ and pancake days at Fairgreen. The children may bring 1 stuffed animal friend to school those days. They will come home that day. For safety reasons, please have your child wear shoes and not slippers. Scholastic book orders are due by Tuesday, January 31st. March tuition is due on or before Wednesday, February 1st. Following the preschool's weather related policy the morning preschool is cancelled. This evening, WLS district announced a 2 hour delay and therefore our morning classes are cancelled. If WLS moves from delayed to closed - we will close. If WLS moves from delayed to open - we will see the afternoon children.

Following our weather related closing policy, the preschool will be closed on Wednesday, January 25th.

A reminder to our current families, 2023-2024 registration forms have been sent home. Return them now to secure your child's place in our morning or afternoon preschool.
