Here's something that takes about five minutes and could save you a major headache someday.
Take out your phone and walk through your house while recording a video.
Get the furniture, electronics, closets, garage, tools, basement whatever you'd have trouble remembering if you suddenly had to make a list of everything you own.
Hopefully you'll never need it. But if you ever have a fire, theft or another major loss, you'll probably be glad you have it.
Five minutes. Hit record. Walk through the house. Save the video somewhere safe.
Pretty simple.

No GPS. No Google Maps. No cell service.
Just a map, a compass and apparently a pretty good sense of direction. 😂
On October 12, 1492, Christopher Columbus and his crew reached the Bahamas after sailing west across the Atlantic.
I have trouble getting some places WITH Google Maps, so I’ll give them credit for that one.

🍎 Greenup has a lot going on this week!
Apple Fest is back, and they've packed the schedule Cruise Night, vendors, parade, live music, kids activities, contests, food and plenty more.
If you're looking for something to do, head over to Greenup and check it out.
It's always good to see people getting out and supporting the events that keep our local communities going.

Every small town has a few unwritten rules.
You wave when you meet someone on a back road.
If somebody’s pulled over, you slow down to see who it is.
You don’t need the address just tell me whose house it used to be.
And somehow everybody knows what happened before you do. 😂

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This month we recognize the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand with the families and friends whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

🍂 October around here is a busy kind of good.

Harvest is moving, fall sports are in full swing, the days are getting shorter, and it seems like there's always somewhere to be.

But somewhere between the ballgames, long days in the fields, school activities and packed schedules are the things that make this time of year pretty special.

There's something about a hometown game.

It's not just what's happening on the field or court. It's seeing people you haven't talked to in a while. Grandparents in the stands. Little kids watching the older kids. Parents volunteering. Coaches giving their time. Students cheering on their friends.

Win or lose, those nights are part of what makes a small community feel like home.

Here's to all of our local athletes, coaches, families and volunteers putting in the time this fall.

🥎💙💛 What a season for Cumberland Raider Softball!

Congratulations to the Cumberland Raiders on an incredible season, earning the title of Regional Champions and advancing to Sectional play! 🏆

This season was about so much more than one game. It was a season filled with hard work, teamwork, determination, and plenty of Raider pride.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, families, and everyone who supported these girls along the way. You represented Cumberland well and gave our community so much to be proud of.
