It seems our Apprentice Steven David Johnson is busy at work building fences? LOL, no he is building and painting our new picnic tables. Yea, Steven!!

That’s right we heard how much you like the seating area next to our booth last year so we are happy to announce that we will have 3 picnic tables with umbrellas in front of he brewery.

Oh, and not the tables will not be on the walkway. They will be in the “grass”.

Have you ever dreamed of working at the Texas Renaissance Festival or a craft brewery? Then this is your chance!

Brigadoon Brewery is actively looking for the right new employee for the 2026 Texas Renaissance Festival. We offer a great base plus tips, and profit sharing.

No experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know.

We offer a 6 hrs per fair day so you still have time to see fair.

Job info:

Beer Wench/Barman

No experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know. Must be at least 21 years of age, NO EXCEPTIONS. Must have or be able to obtain your TABC Serving card.

You must be able to work all eight weekends (Oct 10 - Nov. 29th 2026), the Friday after Thanksgiving and attend a dress rehearsal/training on Saturday, October 3rd.

Minimum Qualification·
Be a non-smoker (participants are not permitted to smoke on stage at the fair and Brigadoon is a smoke free work place)
· Be at least 21 years of age
· Beer Wench/Barman-be able to lift 30lbs.
· Be able to stand for long hours
· Be able to kneel, squat and climb ladders.
· Be a citizen of the United States or hold a valid work visa.
· Have a valid SSN.
· Have or be able get TABC Service Certificate.
· Pass a background investigation.
· Agree to follow all company and Texas Renaissance Festival rules.
· Not currently on probation.
· Not convicted or charged with a s*x crime.
· Work all 8 weekends of fair to include Friday after Thanksgiving No visible tattoos . No visible facial piercing besides ear rings.

We promise long days, hard work and plenty of fun. Oh, and we have beer!

You asked for them and we heard. 2026 Dragon Mugs are in and they are double walled 16 oz Stainless! These mugs should last a long time. (Not Dishwasher safe! The print may ware away. Hand wash Only!) Not recommended for jousting!

Work Weekends in Another Century!

Join the 52nd Season of the Texas Renaissance Festival

The Texas Renaissance Festival will host its Annual Vendor Job Faire on: Saturday, September 12, 2026, promptly at 10:00 AM at the Globe Stage, Texas Renaissance Festival Grounds

Vendors will be on-site interviewing prospective employees and filling over 400 open positions for the 2026 festival season!

Available Positions Include:
· Merchandise Sales
· Food & Beverage Staff
· Food Preparation
· Game Attendants
· Ride Attendants
· Customer Service Roles
· And Many More!

Employment Requirements:
· Minimum age: 16 years old
· Must present a Photo ID and Social Security Card
· Must be available to work eight consecutive festival weekends

What to Bring:
· Copies of your resume
· Positive attitude and enthusiasm!

Free Parking!
