The First Day Is Here!

The first day is here—let the adventure begin!
With backpacks, bright smiles, and a great big grin.
New friends, new lessons, and memories to make,
Every challenge is one we're excited to take.

So walk through the doors with courage and cheer,
God has amazing plans for this school year.
Let's learn, let's grow, and do our very best—
Here's to an awesome year that's truly blessed!

The Night Before the First Day of School

'Twas the night before school, and all through the house,
Every student was searching for one missing blouse...
Or a shoe... or a folder... or pencils galore,
The things you swore you had packed the night before.

Backpacks stood waiting all lined up with pride,
While nervous butterflies fluttered inside.
Alarm clocks were set (maybe two or three),
Because sleeping till noon was no longer the key!

Parents were smiling... at least that's their plan,
Though they're secretly praying, "Lord, help us again!"
Lunches are packed, and supplies are all neat,
Now please don't leave your homework under the seat.

Teachers are dreaming of wonderful days,
Of learning, good choices, and giving God praise.
They're hoping you'll listen, work hard, and be kind...
And keep all your pencils instead of "I can't find mine!"

So get some good sleep and don't stay up late,
Tomorrow's adventure is going to be great!
Bring your supplies and your very best grin,
A brand-new year full of learning will begin.

We'll laugh, we'll grow, we'll discover and play,
We'll make memories together along the way.
So rest up tonight—your summer's officially through...
The dining hall pizza has been waiting for YOU!
