Today was a great day at Rocket Taekwondo! We love seeing our students shine and show their skills and growth as they move through each belt at our graduations.

We were honored to have Senior Master Jesse Isaacs Ata join us for our black belt testing and present Master Penton with his lion pin symbolizing the strength and service required for the next phase of his Martial Arts journey.

Thank you so much to our Instructors, summer interns, students and families for taking our summer training to the next level!

We are still savoring an incredible week at the ATA Martial Arts Songahm Taekwondo World Expo.

Congratulations to Jesse Isaacs Ata for being the youngest-ever inductee to the ATA Hall of Fame, and the whole team at Integrity Martial Arts Cutler Bay for being honored at ATA International School of the Year for the second year in a row. Your leadership in our region and organization makes a difference.

To our friends, Master Brooke Bairos and Transform Martial Arts! Congratulations on your recognition as International Instructor of the Year. You have been hustling and doing the work for years, and we love seeing you get recognized for your leadership and hard work.

We’re so grateful for our fellow instructors from ATA Region 104 for their support, mentorship, and friendship throughout this journey. We truly wouldn’t be here without you.

We could not be more proud of our students from Rocket Taekwondo for representing our school and showing up Stronger, Kinder, and Braver both at home and on the mat.

So proud of our training buddy, Ms. Fox from ATA Martial Arts Daytona Beach, for winning WORLD CHAMPION in traditional sparring today!!! Your hard work and dedication to your training showed today, and we were thrilled to cheer and celebrate with you!!!!!!

Introducing Master Daniel Penton!!

This week, Mr. Penton is marking his transition from “Mr” to “Master” - a process that has taken years of dedication and training on and off the mat.

At Rocket Taekwondo, our whole crew has been leveling up together and as we honor the past, we know the future couldn’t be brighter.

Last weekend, we had four students complete their Level 1 ATA Legacy Certification. The first step in moving from student to instructor.

Congratulations to Mr. Affeld, Mr. Hill, Mr. O’Brien, and Ms. Penton for demonstrating their knowledge and skills!

Mr. Ames officially earned his Level 2 Legacy Collar, continuing his journey to lead others to black belt.

We want to extend an extra special Congratulations to Ms. Garcia for passing her Level 3 Legacy Certification and earning her title as certified instructor.

The journey to black belt is one where you learn to lead yourself. The journey to instructor is one where you learn to lead others. And the journey to Mastership is about leading leaders. Our community and world needs all three.

It’s been an incredible journey to Mastership. I’m so grateful to Grand Master Grand Master M.K. Lee , Grand Master Tammy Harvey Stauber , Senior Master Jesse Isaacs Ata, and the Masters Council for their guidance and support on this journey.

I’m so excited to be a part of an organization that is embracing the future and cannot wait to begin this new chapter with our crew at Rocket Taekwondo.
