Day two and three of the Italy Trip! 🇮🇹✝️

Today was a day of prayer, reflection, and walking in the footsteps of the saints.

Our pilgrims celebrated Mass in the Catacombs, surrounded by the history and witness of the early Christians. We are proud of Logan, who served as lector, Nolan, who read the intercessions, and Jorge, who altar served alongside Fr. Chris.

The group also visited the Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs), traditionally believed to be the steps Jesus climbed on His way to be judged by Pontius Pilate, as well as Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, the burial place of St. Paul.

From praying in the Catacombs to visiting some of Christianity’s most sacred sites, Day 3 was filled with moments that brought our faith to life in a profound way. Please continue to keep our pilgrims in your prayers as their journey continues. 🙏🇻🇦❤️

Pilgrimage to Italy - We send our prayers for safe travel to all those in Italy. We pray for your safe return.

First Flight - We are very happy to see the return of our little Osprey that grew up in the care of the Audubon Society. The Osprey was recently released back into the wild at the church. Thank you, Ken, for bringing the hatching (all grown up and healthy) back.

Father's Day Message - Father's Day is here once again. This is a time for all fathers to reflect upon their duties as responsible men.

Our nation is in urgent need that all fathers be true and loving men who will give themselves unconditionally until the day the heavenly Father calls them to their eternal reward Real fathers are real men.

As Christian disciples on this Father's Day, we recommit ourselves to supporting fathers in their most important vocation.

Fatherhood todayisnoteasy. It probably never has been easy, but it seems to be getting more difficult in recent decades. We resolve to pray for fathers, be their spiritual or natural fathers, who have made vows of constancy to the Almighty Father.



We choose to journey with those fathers who are still trying to find their way in their vocation as fathers. They need the

support of the parish communities in order for them to be the type of man that God is calling them to be.
