Interesting video about tegus losing their tails.
We are permanently closed. Our page remains active for educational purposes only. We also travel to pick up animals in need of rescue.
All too often, reptiles are given or bought as pets without fully researching their needs. Habitats, lighting, food, handle-ability, and medical needs are often more than what owners expect and as a result, proper care becomes unsuccessful. Many of these animals are released, abused, or neglected through no fault of their own. Located in Titusville, FL, we are a rescuing family that provides care,

Rest well, Brian. Give our Mordred, Happy, Crispy, Phoenix, Elbow, and so many more hugs from us. π
On behalf of the Barczyk family and our entire team at The Reptarium, it is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Brian Barczyk.
More than the guiding light of our organization, Brian's fervent passion for reptiles and wildlife, along with his steadfast dedication to education, has touched innumerable hearts and minds globally.
Our deepest sympathies are with Brian's family, his friends, and all those whose lives he has touched. We've lost an exceptional individual β a visionary, mentor, and friend. For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him, Brian's absence leaves an immeasurable void.

Weβve just seen this, our hearts go out to Geoffβs family, friends, and loved ones. π
Keith here. I speak regularly about how amazing our volunteers are. Unfortunately, we lost a great one over the weekend as Geoff Hanks lost his courageous battle with cancer. Geoff and his children began volunteering for us years ago, before moving to Arizona, where he and his son Gage started Fallen H Reptile Rescue, or Herps Alive West as we jokingly called it. They moved back to the area a couple years back and Geoff began volunteering with us again. He lived every moment at 100% and he will be sorely missed.
It is with the heaviest of hearts, that we announce the passing of our most beloved and precious Yoda.
He was the beginning of Scaly Hearts, and for many years he helped educate and improve the understanding of the care and love of reptiles.
He touched so many hearts and made such an incredible impact on countless people, that the void he leaves will never be filled.
He was nearly 15 years old, a long life for a dragon in this world. But his memory will live on forever in those who loved him.
Our hearts are broken and our world will never be the same.
Fly high Baby Boy, you finally have those dragon wings you dreamed about. Say hello to Mordred and Phoenix, Crispy and Happy, and all those who are waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. π
