AHS Announcements Week of 9/21:
Next week, September 28th, is Homecoming Spirit Week, where all of our students and staff get dressed up to join in on the fun! Please encourage your student to have fun, make memories, and celebrate this homecoming tradition!
Monday – Twin Day
Tuesday – Teacher/Student Swap
Wednesday – Frat vs Sorority (no cups)
Thursday – Color Wars: 9th – Gold, 10th – Red, 11th – Black, 12th – Pink
Friday - Maroon and Gold

We are excited to bring a tradition back to Astronaut, Anything Goes, a fun, high-energy Homecoming competition where student teams will compete in a variety of field-day-style games, relays, and challenges. Teams will earn points throughout the event as they compete for the title of Anything Goes Champion. This event is designed to promote school spirit, teamwork, and friendly competition! Students can make a team from 6-10 players, $5 per player! The games will take place on Monday, September 28th. from 6:30-8pm on the AHS practice field! Registration is on GoFan.co. Please save the date for the Astronaut High School Homecoming Parade on Thursday, October 1st at 6:30pm. We have a new route but same community and family fun! We will start in the Madison MS bus loop, travel West in Dairy, turn South on War Eagle, go through the AHS parking lot, East on Jack Schnell, and end at the track. Immediately following the parade, we will have a Bonfire at AHS from 7:30-8:30pm. There will be music, food provided by Breakaway Student Ministries, and more! Come enjoy an awesome celebration for the entire community!!!
The Astronaut HS Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, October 3rd in the AHS Gym from 8-11pm. Students must be in good standing academically and with behavior to attend the dance. Students will not be able to attend if they fall into any one of the following categories:
-3 or more suspension days
-3 or more referrals
-2 or more F’s (1st 9 weeks)
Non-AHS Guest forms are due back to Mrs. Miller by Friday, September 25th! Permission slip forms for AHS students will be available starting on Monday. Homecoming Dance tickets will be sold Wednesday, September 23rd through Friday, October 2nd for $25. You must have a signed parent permission form in hand and $25 cash or check to purchase a ticket. Don't miss out on this beautiful, “Tangled Under the Lights” themed evening!
Please come support the Junior Class for a Chipotle Night on Saturday, September 26th from 5-9pm at Chipotle in Titusville! All money raised will support the Junior class in planning Prom.
Friday, September 25th is a teacher Professional Learning Day and Student Holiday.
