Canadian born and Norwegian raised, Erlend Gray lived an extremely active life. A motivator, a leader and always resilient; he stayed on the front lines forging a path not just for himself but those close to him, never wavering no matter the environment. With a long career in the Armed Forces, completing the naval hunter course, and understanding the importance of canines he built up the canine department in the naval hunter commando, setting new standards for the Norwegian special forces. To continue his support of his team mates and the cause he so strongly believed in he along with his remarkable friend and supporter, Karl Albrecht began their company specializing in equipping the Armed Forces, police, and SAR units. Focusing on acquiring top tier equipment that helps save lives and contributed to close cooperation between defense and police units worldwide. A lifelong skiing enthusiast and expeditionist he helped set a world record for skiing to the South Pole with his Team Framdrift in 2011; a feat that only showcased his strength and resilience in the harshest of climates. With the help of a dart and map he settled in the mountain village of Hemsedal, Norway with his wonderful wife and 2 young children. The unexpected diagnosis of cancer came in 2023; beginning treatment quickly but come spring of 2024 the cancer had spread, this immediate need for help resulted in 12 Months Out. He met this new challenge with strength and hope and fought until the end. He lived a life filled with passion, is a father of two, husband, special operations veteran, polar explorer, entrepreneur, and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

With profound sadness we share the passing of an incredible friend, Erlend Gray. He lived a life full of passion, was an inspiration to those around him, believed the world was full of possibilities and most importantly was a loving father. Until we meet again in Valhalla.

As we celebrate the 100 year anniversary of Eugene Stoner’s birthday, we also celebrate his technological innovations that have withstood the test of time. The M16/M4 series of rifles has had the longest service life of any American service rifle. This is a testament to the genius of his design. Eugene Morris Stoner rightfully earns his place as one of the greatest fi****ms designers of the 20th century.

The KAC E3.2 bolt is now shipping with SR-15 5.56mm rifles and upper receiver kits.

The E3.2 bolt was purpose-built to provide extended service life and enhanced reliability in all conditions. The prominent dual ejectors ensure clean and consistent ejection even when a traditional high-backpressure suppressor is used. Refined lug geometry and optimized material selection ensures lug durability in excess of even the industry-leading KAC E3 bolt. A Viton O-ring prevents extractor vibration and lift, and a hard chrome exterior simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
