MEMBER MONDAY SPOTLIGHT:

Our Member Monday spotlight this week features one of our newer members and a driving force in our interior redo of Studio A, the lobby and bathrooms at NBAL, Dakotah (Red) Anderson.

Dakotah Anderson is a self- taught multidisciplinary artist, whose most frequent media vary between acrylic paints, digital illustration, and sculpture. He started as a muralist, painting murals across Brevard County, and now works at Seaworld as a Theming Supervisor, manufacturing and installing decor and art throughout the park. In addition, he recently did a presentation for NBAL members on the ins and outs of mural painting.

Currently much of his original art centers around nature - local wildlife is a personal favorite subject matter. Most recently, Dakotah has created and donated murals for the North Brevard Art League in both the lobby and the handicapped bathroom. He has also done live mural painting at Seaworld Orlando’s Viva La Musica Festival and performed a live painting show at Orlando Fringe.

NBAL is thankful that Dakotah chose our building to be one of the recipients of his talents and are pleased to have him as a member of the league.

Celebrate the start of summer at The Downtown Art Gallery’s annual Summer Soirée: An Evening of Art, Cocktails & Summer Vibes on Friday, June 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 400 Orange Street in downtown Titusville.
Bring your friends to this free community event. Guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed evening of creativity, conversation, and inspiration at their charming new location.
Seasonal charcuterie and additional light refreshments will also be available throughout the evening.
Must be 21+ to enjoy complimentary cocktails.

Linda Krupp and gang had lots of fun last Saturday learning how to paint with a palette knife in oils and acrylics. Everyone had fun creating their own version of a rooster. Check them out!!
