Day We had one compete Gus the bus who finished 8th in the 110 meter Hurdles. All American wait to we sre him next year. I been around for a while the next John Rothell. If you know you know.

Day 4 was another great day for the Striders as The Stephens brothers strike again.

Gus Vanni started the day off by qualifying for the finals of the 15-16 year old boys 110 meter Hurdles with a new PR. Gus is the only 15 year old to make the finals.

Ji'Aire Stephens earned his second All American honor by finishing 5th in the 15-16 year old boys triple jump.

The highlight performance of the day was turned in by Mr Jordan Stephens who secured his 2nd National Championship in as many days by winning the 10 year old boys long jump setting a New meet record in the process.

Day 2 of The Club National Championships was a tough one for The Striders as many of them did not obtain their set goals. However, there was one athlete who exceeded expectations. With that being said please join me in congratulating Ms Demanee Kidd who earned her second All American honor in as many days by finishing 8th in the nation in the 14 year old girls Discus throw. Congratulations Nene!!!!!

Today was the first day of The Club National Championship held in Jacksonville Florida and your Space Coast Striders were well represented as 4 athletes earned All American status by finishing in the Top 8 of their events at this National level meet.

Damanee Kidd finished 6th in the 14 year old girls Shot put with a new PR
Machi Joe was 4th in the 15-16 year old boys shot put with a new PR
Jiaire Stephens finished 3rd in the 15-16 year old boys long jump
Deuce Fluellen finished 6th in the 15-16 year old boys long jump

Jordan qualified for the semifinals of the 10 year old boys 100 meters

Acari Walker placed 13th in 14 year old boys triple jump

On the final day of the Regional Qualifier your Space Coast Striders ended the 4 day event with a bang. Athletes qualifying for the Junior Olympics today were:

Buddha McDonald 3rd place in the 8& under long jump in a new PR

All in all we had 20 of the 27 athletes who competed this weekend qualify in at least one event for the Junior Olympics. Job well done Striders!!!!
