We still have a (very) few Indiana State Fair tickets available in the Purdue Extension- Tipton County office. If you are a 4-H family or volunteer that is planning to go to the State Fair this weekend and could use a couple of tickets, please stop by before 4 pm today (Thursday) or between 8 am-4 pm Friday.

🍀4-H Members–Premium Money & Food Auction Check Pickup

Premium money and Food Auction checks are now available for pickup at the Purdue Extension Tipton County Office during regular office hours.

Please Note:
âś… Food Auction checks have an expiration date, so be sure to cash your check as soon as possible after receiving it.
âś… If you participated in the Food Auction or Livestock Auction, you will not have premium money available, as auction participants do not receive premium money.

If you're unsure whether you have a check waiting or premium money available, please call the Extension Office at 765-675-1177.

During the month of June we will be celebrating the 21 4-H members who are completing their 10th and final year in the program. Congratulations on your accomplishments, thank you for your service and participation, and best wishes as you use the lessons and skills learned as you develop a bright future!
Katie Jo Wolford is the 18-year-old daughter of Heather Wolford and the late Travis Wolford. Katie has been an active member of 4-H Livestock Club and Jr. Leaders. She has held many officer roles during the last 10 years such as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Jr. Goat Chairman. Katie has also served on 4-H Council as a Student Representative. Katie has won numerous awards in 4-H – some of her favorites being Grand Champion Dairy Doe and participating in Supreme Showmanship in 2025. Katie has participated in several workshops, attended 4-H Camp, and has been a Mini 4-H Camp Counselor. She was the recipient of the 2025 Farm Bureau Tenure Award. Katie is a 2026 graduate of Tri-Central High School. Her future plans include attending Ivy Tech and becoming certified in Farm Management / Grain Systems. Katie states that “Some of her best 4-H Fair memories are going to the Tractor Pulls, showing animals, and staying at the fairgrounds. All of those experiences have helped shape Katie to who she is today.”
