55th Class Reunion in the books....what a GREAT weekend!

We kicked off Friday night at the American Legion. Good food, Good fellowship.

Saturday included a tour of the school led by our President Fred Henderson. Lots of awesome changes from our High School days! (Side note: the phone booth is gone.)

We then met at The Greenhouse for an amazing evening! Our Planning Committee did an outstanding job once again. Decorations were awesome! (Louie Wolford still has some of the wood crafted items available for sale with proceeds to the Class. He is so talented!) What an amazing night it was, including someone we hadn't seen since graduation and a couple of last minute surprise classmates.

With all that being said, I didn't take a single picture. BUT there were many who did and we hope to gather them in the days to come and get them posted. ANYONE is welcome to send to us or post them! And we will definitely post the Class picture when received.

Thank you to everyone who had any part in this wonderful weekend. Hope to see everyone back in 2031. ❤️🤞🙏

55-Year Reunion - August 29, 2026

Dear Class of 1971:
Another five years have literally flown by since our last reunion in 2021. Many things have gone on in our lives . . . grandchildren, retirement (some), and travel.
We have lost classmates since then too, and we remember them fondly. Many of us are still in Tipton, but several are in a lot of other places too. We look forward to seeing all of you at our 55th year class reunion (How does that sound for strange!!??)
The reunion committee has been busy in preparation for our event. We hope you will make plans to attend the entire weekend. Here is the schedule:
 Friday, August 28, 6:30 p.m. until ??? - Social mixer at the American Legion, 129 North Independence Street. Get re-acquainted with old friends.Refreshments and food are available in a cash bar set up.
 THS Tour, Saturday, August 29, 4:00 p.m., Main Entrance - Tour
conducted by Fred Henderson (still teaching there). There are a lot of changes that you will be impressed by.
 Saturday, August 29, 6:30 p.m. - Registration and social hour (cash bar) at The Greenhouse, 222 S. Independence St. A group photo will be taken
at 7:15. You will be able to order a photo if you are interested
 7:30 p.m. - Buffet Dinner
 8:30 p.m. - Fun with the Reunion Committee, and social time.
The cost of the evening will be $35.00 per person. Checks should be made out to THS Class of 1971, and sent along with your information sheet by July 20 to:

So very sad to pass along the news that our Class President's wife, Diane Grimme Henderson, has passed away. No funeral is planned at this time, but there will be a Celebration of Life in the future. Please keep the families in your thoughts and prayers.

A stack going out today, but we still have Registration forms that can be emailed or snail mailed. Let me know asap. Would like to have as many as possible by July 20 so can plan for food, etc. Again, please pass along to any classmates you can. Please RSVP yeah or nay!
