WHAT A DAY! Cooking in below freezing temps can ruin the best teams. These two definitely qualify as a “best team.” I cannot believe how well they did today. The cards were stacked against them. Six different turn ins for just two cooks means you have bust your hump to get everything done. These guys cooked their tails off just to get everything turned in on time.

As their teacher I cannot be more proud of them. They followed their timeline, kept their space cleaned, and was the first team to get packed up to go home.

Usually that kind of work ethic is rewarded and today it was.

We had a great cook today and the judges agreed. Results as follows.

3rd 🥉- Grilled Cheese 🧀
3rd 🥉- Dutch Oven Chili 🌶️
3rd 🥉- Ribeye Steak 🥩 (yes we know this is a T-bone)
1st 🥇- Chicken 🍗

3rd 🥉 Overall
