Due to an emergency situation we will not be able to open today. We apologize for the last minute decision, but we were really trying to open.

TCEP will be opening on a two-hour delay. If the roads continue to improve we will open at 8:30 a.m. There will be no preschool or Pre-k classes. Please remember to pack a lunch. We will contact you by one call if we have to close.

The last day before Christmas Break will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

Good Morning Preschool & Pre-K Parents,

It was brought to my attention last Friday that the Tipp City School District corrected its calendar to reflect Winter Break starting on Thursday, December 22nd, instead of Wednesday, December 21st.

This will impact our Christmas Break as we were prepared for our last day before the break to be Tuesday, December 20th.

We will have Preschool and Pre-K classes on Wednesday, December 21st. Some of our staff had already planned their breaks based on the original calendar, so your child may have a substitute in their classrooms on December 21st.

Please check with your classroom teachers for the date of your child's Holiday Party, as some teachers will not be here on the 21st.

Staff shortages are crippling childcare, and there’s no end in sight Parents might want to go back to the office, but they can’t find childcare.

Tipp City Schools are now closed. Tipp City Enrichment Program will be open for all full-time childcare children. Your child must have a packed lunch. If you have already dropped off your child, you must bring them a packed lunch or pick them up prior to 11:00 a.m. There will be no preschool or Pre-K classes. Thank you

Due to Teacher Illness we will be closed tomorrow October 31, 2022.

Due to excessive illness, the Pre-K 1 and Pre-K 2 classrooms will postpone their Halloween Parade and Parties until Monday, October 31, 2022. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but want all the children to be able to attend.

If your child has had a fever, bad cough, or vomiting in the past 24 hours, we ask that you DO NOT attend class tomorrow, Thursday, October 27th.

School-Age parents, please remember there is a two-hour early release tomorrow, and we will be open for all school-age children. On Friday, October 28th. we will be open for childcare only. You must have already signed up to attend this day and come with a packed lunch. Any child arriving without lunch will not be allowed to stay. Thank you

ATTENTION PARENTS: Tomorrow, Friday, October 14th, is the Tipp City homecoming parade. We were informed by a parent that participants will meet in the Broadway parking lot at 5:00 pm, and the parade will start at 5:30 pm. This could potentially affect you picking up your children at TCEP. We will remain open until 6:00 pm. However, it may be to your advantage to pick up by 5:00 pm if possible.

Preschool and Pre-K parents, don't forget your Child's Medical Statements are due September 30th!

We will be closed Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day!

Looking for after-school Child Care Teachers. Must be able to work 3:00-6:00 p.m. Must be 18 years of age, a high school graduate, and pass a background check! Additional hours may be available. Reminder: The last day for the summer program is August 19th.

SPLIT SHIFT POSITION:

The teacher and assistants are responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.

*Minimum of High School Diploma
*Knowledge or willingness to learn about Developmentally Appropriate Practice
*Ability to collaborate with other teachers
*A love of learning and of children

July 5th- July 8th

Tuesday, July 5th- Chicken or beef taco with bean dip, chips, corn, and grapes

Wednesday, July 6th- Hot dogs with baked beans, vegetables, and watermelon

Thursday, July 7th- Beef and noodles with green beans and mashed potatoes

Friday, July 8th- Reruns (Your choice of something from earlier in the week)

All youth entering grades K-5th grade in August 2022 are invited to this nautical themed program that will teach you the what, where, when, and how questions about lighthouses through stories, activities and crafts. A random drawing will be also be held to give away a special lighthouse-inspired gift to one of the participant.

Parents: Our children are very fortunate to be receiving free lunches from the Tipp Monroe Community Services every day. Please consider making a donation to the program! Donations can be dropped off at TCEP and we will get them to the Lunch on Us Program!
