🏴☠️💙 And just like that… our final chapter has come to an end. 💙🏴☠️
I honestly don’t know if there are enough words to say what I’m feeling right now. Closing Pirates Den is one of the most bittersweet things I’ve ever had to do. This place has been so much more than a daycare. It has been a home, a second family, a place full of tiny footsteps, big personalities, belly laughs, tears, birthday celebrations, first days, last days, and more memories than I could ever possibly count.
To every family who trusted me with their children — thank you. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your children’s lives and for trusting us to love, teach, comfort, encourage, and care for them. I will carry those memories with me forever. 💙
To every employee who poured their heart into Pirates Den — thank you for standing beside me and helping make this place what it was. There is no way I could have done it alone.
And to everyone who came out during our closeout sale, purchased something, picked something up for free, shared our posts, checked in on us, or simply came by to say goodbye — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Watching so many pieces of Pirates Den find new homes has made this ending a little easier. I hope every item that leaves these doors gets to continue making memories somewhere else. 🥹💙

This isn’t the goodbye I ever imagined having to say, but I’m incredibly grateful for the years I was given. I’m grateful for every child who walked through those doors, every family who trusted us, every employee who showed up, every laugh that echoed through these walls, and every memory that will stay with me long after the doors are closed.
Pirates Den may be closing its doors, but it will always hold a very special place in my heart. 🏴☠️💙
