Bannes PTO

The purpose of our page is to provide an online community for parents and families at John A. Bannes Elementary. Go Bobcats!

Proceeds of our fundraisers and events are used to provide various items and experiences to our students. Examples include technology for the classrooms, playground equipment, field trips, assemblies, and additional classroom resources (recess games, periodicals, etc.). The events also provide a way for the children and their families to socialize and enjoy their school outside of the classroom.

we're so back. mark your calendars and join in on a community dinner to kick off the school year! food truck vendors will return 15-20% of all proceeds directly to Bannes, so come ready to sample eats from Chick Fil A, Fahem wa Lahem, Joey's Redhots, Ice, Ice Baby and possibly more! we will see you on the blacktop on 26 August from 4:00-6:00pm!

thank you to all who came out to cheer on our Bobcats as they danced us through the decades! the kiddos had an amazing night and were so excited to share it with all of our families; we hope you enjoyed the show!!

Our 4th graders recently visited the Museum of Science and Industry — and the smiles (and curiosity!) say it all.

Through PTO support, each grade receives a $600 field trip budget to help make experiences like this possible. Field trips extend learning beyond the classroom, giving students hands-on opportunities to explore new ideas, ask questions, and connect lessons to the real world.

We’re grateful to partner with our teachers and school to help provide meaningful learning experiences for every grade level. Parent participation is what makes this dream possible. Thanks for all that you do to support your PTO.
