The Tinley Park Performing Arts Center is owned and operated by the Tinley Park-Park District. The t Children's Theater, and many other performing arts programs.

Remodeled in Fall of 2010, the Tinley Park Performing Arts Center is one of the newest facility owned and operated by the Tinley Park-Park District. The theater seats 120 people, and is the home of the park district's very own Tinley Park Community Theater, AACT Up! The theater is located next to McCarthy Park at 16801 S. 80th Avenue in Tinley Park.

Last Saturday, Main Stage Improv took our stage with their Open Mic & Sketch Show 🎤🤣

We had a packed house and barrels of laughs! Thanks to all the Open Mic acts that came out to perform and to our Main Stage Improv players for crushing another show 🎭

Calling all actors aged 8-17 📣

Come out to the Bettenhausen Rec Center this Saturday and audition for Rising Phoenix Theatre,! You must register prior to the audition date. Register here: https://bit.ly/4gmKoEj

Audition sides will be available on the day in the audition room. You may also prepare a 1-3 minute monologue, but it is not necessary.

A parent must accompany children to auditions with a list of clothing sizes and schedule conflicts. All cast members must be able to attend all tech rehearsals, dress rehearsals and performances!

Audition Slots:
Children’s Theater: Wax Museum: 10:00 AM -12:00 PM
Teen Theater: Barbecuing Hamlet: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
