Show Chicken Season is Here! 🐣

Our Principles of Agriculture classes rolled up their sleeves and got the school poultry barn ready for the season! Students cleaned the barn, washed feeders and waterers, and checked fans and heat lamps to make sure everything is set for the new chicks.

Timpson FFA is "kicking off" an awesome year! Last night we held our first chapter meeting of the school year with over 50 members and guests in attendance.

Our officers performed opening ceremonies, recapped a busy summer of events, and announced two important upcoming deadlines:

FFA Jacket Orders — due August 27th
Poultry Festival Chicks — arriving August 21st

We were thrilled to welcome our special guests from Area 9: Graham Ward, Joaquin Lopez, Kanin Cleere, Allison Johnson, and Lucinda David, along with Pineywood District officers Carlee Procella and June White. Thank you all for being here!

After the meeting, everyone enjoyed grilled hotdogs, chips, and fruit punch before heading to the softball field for a kickball game. Great food, great friends, and a great start to the year!

Here's to a fantastic year ahead for Timpson FFA! 🚜💙

What a GREAT turnout for The Timpson FFA Show Animal & Ag Mechanics Projects Meeting! It was so exciting to see so many students and families come out, ask questions, make plans, and get ready for a great year ahead. We are beyond excited for this group of students and all the opportunities we have ahead of us!
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Timpson FFA program. We are just getting started this year, and we can’t wait to see what these students accomplish! If you missed this meeting and want to get involved reach out! 💙💛

Living to Serve -

FFA officers served the teachers, cafeteria workers, and custodial staff to breakfast tacos this morning. Eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, and tortillas prepared with homemade salsa and chipotle sauce. Yummy! 😋

🌊 Lake Murvaul + FFA Officers = One EPIC retreat! 🎉

On Tuesday, July 28, officers Avery, Landree, Taylor, Trinity, and Treyson teamed up with Advisors April Bush, Robert Harrison, and Donna Sue Youngblood to plan the best year yet! 🤝 They tackled the Program of Activities — scheduling chapter meetings, community service projects, and fundraisers to support CDEs, LDEs, speaking events, livestock showing, ag mechanics, and agriscience fair. 🐖🔧🔬🗣️🏆

Then they traded notebooks for kayaks and paddle boards, hit the water for a swim, and settled in for what we can only assume was a very intense game of Uno. 🚣‍♀️🏊‍♂️🃏😂 These officers are ready to lead, serve, and make things happen this year. Let's go! 💪🤠🔥

CALLING ALL POULTRY SHOWMAN!

Great workshop opportunity to attend to learn, refresh, and grow knowledge!
