At Stars Learning Center, we make name recognition fun and engaging through name songs, name cards, and playful daily activities. 🎶🪪

Recognizing their name is an important early literacy skill that helps children:
🌟 Build confidence and a sense of identity
🌟 Recognize letters and begin connecting letters to sounds
🌟 Develop early reading and writing skills
🌟 Practice visual memory and attention
🌟 Feel a sense of belonging and independence

Through repetition, music, and hands-on learning, children begin to recognize that those letters spell their very own name, a wonderful first step toward becoming confident early readers! 📚💕

🌱🪴 Garden Fun at Stars Learning Center! 🥕🍅

Today our little friends had fun exploring the garden! We looked at different plants, flowers, fruits, and vegetables. The children helped water the plants and learned that plants need sunshine, water, and love to grow. ☀️💧💚

We love giving our little learners hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity and a love for nature!

🐙 Ocean adventures in the classroom! Today our little learners explored sea animals by creating their own colorful octopuses. This hands-on craft helped strengthen fine motor skills, encouraged creativity, and sparked conversations about life under the sea. Learning is always more fun when we create together! 💙🌊

🇺🇸❤️ Happy 4th of July from Stars Learning Center! ❤️🇺🇸

We had a red, white, and BLUE-tiful celebration before the holiday weekend! Our little stars enjoyed making festive American flag handprint crafts and cooling off with a full of splashing, giggles, and water play. 💦🌞

Watching their smiles, laughter, and friendships grow is what makes every day so special. We hope all of our Stars Learning Center families have a fun, safe, and memorable Independence Day filled with love, laughter, and time together.

💙🏎️ Happy Father’s Day from Stars Learning Center! 🏎️💙

Our little stars put their love into making special Father’s Day gifts for the amazing dads in their lives. From tiny footprints transformed into race cars to heartfelt decorations and big smiles, every craft was made with love.

We hope these keepsakes bring smiles to all the wonderful dads, grandfathers, and father figures who support, guide, and love our little ones every day.

Thank you for all the bedtime stories, piggyback rides, bear hugs, and endless encouragement. You truly make their hearts race! ❤️

Outdoor play days are the best days of summer! ☀️🌿

Our little learners had so much fun exploring different outdoor stations and activities! From mixing and creating in the mud kitchen, splashing and having fun with water play, digging into sensory play, fixing and building at the mechanic shop, to enjoying the swings and slides, there was something exciting for everyone. 🚗🫧

The children also loved blowing bubbles, going on nature walks, riding cars, and relaxing together during picnic time. Outdoor play encourages creativity, teamwork, imagination, and hands-on learning while making wonderful memories with friends. 💚

Nothing beats fresh air, happy laughter, and learning through play!

Our little artists worked so hard creating these beautiful flower bouquet paintings as special gifts for their moms. Each artwork was made with so much love, creativity, and tiny helping hands to celebrate the amazing mothers in their lives. 🌸🎨

Our playground just got a little more magical 🌸
We’re so grateful to have a beautiful Kwanzan Cherry Blossom Tree right here at our daycare. Not only does it brighten our space with its stunning pink blooms, but it also gives the children a chance to experience nature up close, watching the petals fall, exploring the seasons, and enjoying outdoor play under its shade.
A true asset to our playground and a special part of our everyday moments 💕
