🍎❤️ Johnny Appleseed Day was such a SUCCESS! ❤️🍎

We had APPLES all day long! 🍏🍎 From Apple Jacks and apple juice to applesauce, apple slices, and apple jelly, our Small World was definitely filled with apple goodness! 😋
The children had so much fun painting, apple bobbing, apple picking, playing games, creating crafts, and enjoying all of our Johnny Appleseed activities! 🌳🎨🍎

And a HUGE THANK YOU to our wonderful parent volunteers! ❤️ Your time, helping hands, and willingness to jump right in helped make Johnny Appleseed Day extra special for our children. We truly appreciate you! 🍎🍏

Our first few weeks of the 2026–2027 school year have been filled with a little bit of everything! 🌎❤️

We’ve had a few tears, lots of hugs, plenty of smiles and laughs, new friends, familiar faces, and so many sweet moments as everyone settles into a new school year. Most importantly, our children are already LEARNING, PLAYING, GROWING & LOVING together! 📚🖍️🧩❤️

We’ve enjoyed a little MAGIC with our special Magic Show 🎩✨, and showed our amazing parents some love with our “Butter Believe It’s Going to Be a Great School Year” breakfast! 🧈🥐❤️ Just a few of the little things that make our Small World so special.

And this week, we celebrated the special grandparents who fill our children’s lives with so much love, laughter, wisdom, and joy! 👵🏽👴🏽💕

To all of our Grandmas, Grandpas, Nanas, Papas, Gigi’s, and every special grandparent figure — thank you for helping make our Small World GRAND! 🌎❤️

We are so thankful for all of our children, families, and staff who make Small World such a special place to learn and grow. ❤️

🇺🇸❤️ What a busy...but incredibly fun week at Small World Day Care! ❤️🇺🇸

This week, we had the honor of hosting our Grillin' & Chillin' with Our 1st Responders luncheon. 🚒🚓🚑 We were so thankful for the opportunity to show a small token of appreciation to some of our local heroes. A heartfelt thank you to our firefighters, EMS personnel, sheriff's deputies and police officers for everything you do to keep our community safe. Your service and sacrifice do not go unnoticed! ❤️

The fun didn't stop there! Our children enjoyed a week full of exciting summer activities, including: 🍿 Movie Day 🍧 Pelican Snowballs 🏰 Bounce House fun 💦 Water Day ☀️ Fun in the Sun with outdoor lawn games for our Summer Camp crew!

We can't believe we're already halfway through Summer Camp! So far, our campers have explored the Danville Science Center, visited the Museum of Life and Science, enjoyed adventures at the Eno River, participated in hands-on science experiments, discovered new weekly themes, made new friends, and created memories that will last a lifetime. And we're just getting started—we can't wait to see what the second half of Summer Camp has in store!

🎬🍧🏰🇺🇸 What a week at Small World!

From Movie Day 🍿 to Pelican Snowballs 🍧, bouncing the day away in the Bounce House 🏰, and wrapping it all up with Fun in the Sun ☀️ filled with bubbles, chalk, and lots of red, white, and blue... our children had an amazing time!

The memories we made this week will last forever, and we can't wait to see what new adventures are in store for our Small World children! ❤️🤍💙
