A big thank-you to Tillamook Farmers' Co-op for donating 40 pairs of gardening gloves to our Ag Science classes!

The kids were especially excited because these aren’t just gardening gloves. They’re the good gardening gloves. What makes a "good" glove? No thorns or stickers get through them, and they have decent grip.

You know kids are really learning about gardening when they start having opinions about the quality of their gloves. 😂

Thank you, Tillamook Farmers Co-op, for helping our students get their hands dirty in all the right ways!

The TSD9 parent group, Padres Unidos, is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a Kermes September 29th, beginning at 6:00 pm behind the high school near Doc Adams Field.

This is a fundraiser to raise funds for scholarships for graduating seniors and for other cultural activities in our school district.

Overheard by a 7th grade cross country runner this week..."Our sport is your sport's punishment." 😲 🤣 🏃🏽‍♀️Make no mistake. These kids are tough!

TJHS's cross country team represented the school well this weekend as they competed at The Mook Invitational at Alderbrook Golf Course. It was a beautiful day for a race, and our student athletes did us proud! Way to go, Lions!

Saturday was one for the books! 

The TJHS Football team went to Reser Stadium to watch OSU play, and it was one of those core memory type of days. There was some team bonding, a chance to get on a college campus, and a whole lot of excitement from these kids!

Even better? They made it onto the Jumbotron with a personal shout-out and got to go down on the field!

We love seeing Tillamook kids get opportunities like this and make memories together. Small-town kids, big-time experience!

(Special thank you go to the Bennett Family for coordinating this, and to all the moms, dads, grandparents, outlaws, and in-laws that made this happen! Tillamook is The. Best.)
