As the school year winds down, our Construction & Carpentry students are putting the finishing touches on another great year of projects. One of our favorites is the picnic table program, and we still have tables available for purchase!

If you've been thinking about adding a picnic table to your backyard, patio, farm, or business, now is a great time to support student learning while getting a quality, student-built product.

Interested in purchasing one? Contact Rex Metcalfe at [email protected] for availability.

Thank you for supporting hands-on learning and career technical education at Tillamook High School!

We have a great partnership with the THS woodshop, and they are selling picnic tables! Message us on here (and we will pass your info on) or email Rex Metcalfe to get one!

Here are some great photos from last night's banquet! We’re grateful for the students, families, alumni, supporters, and community members who continue to invest in our program and our kids. None of this happens without a community that believes in creating opportunities for students to grow, lead, and succeed. Thank you for being part of it all! These photos, captured by THS teacher Mr. O’Connor, do a great job showcasing the leadership, hard work, and community that make our chapter so special.

Last night, we celebrated the 77th Annual Tillamook FFA Banquet - an evening dedicated to recognizing the hard work, growth, leadership, and commitment of our students over the past year.

FFA helps shape leaders, teammates, and citizens. Through service, competition, public speaking, career preparation, and countless hours giving back to others, our members learn the value of responsibility, professionalism, humility, and community. 🚨 ATTENTION THS FFA MEMBERS (current and former): 🚨

Somewhere out there is a large collection of borrowed FFA scarves that appear to have started new lives outside of the ag building. At this point, we’re not sure if they’ve been adopted into closets permanently or are being used as very niche home décor.

The Tillamook FFA Chapter owns official dress items for students to borrow so every member has the opportunity to participate professionally but we are officially OUT of scarves. The funny part? We bought plenty....which means… some of them never made it home.

If you borrowed a scarf, please return it to Mr. Bush, Ms. Giraud, or simply drop it off at the THS front office anytime (most of the THS-owned ones have yellow puff paint on the backs). No questions asked. No judgment. We’ll just be excited to see them again!

Former members: if you have old scarves or jackets collecting dust, we would gladly take donations as well. Those items make a huge difference for future students.

The Tillamook FFA Banquet is often a favorite night of the year because it provides the opportunity to recognize what this program is really about: growth, hard work, leadership, service, and community.

This year’s banquet will celebrate the 77th year of Tillamook FFA, and we would love to have our members, families, alumni, supporters, and community join us as we reflect on an incredible year together. From contests and conferences to classroom learning, fairs, SAE projects, leadership development, and community involvement, our members have represented this chapter and community in a way that makes us proud every single day.

We hope you’ll join us Friday, May 22nd at 5PM in the Sue Durrer Dairy Barn as we celebrate the people and experiences that continue to make Tillamook FFA special.
