🎨 DAY ONE of Colors & Creativity Camp!

Our classroom is ready, the colors are out, and our little explorers are setting off on a COLORFUL TREASURE HUNT!

This week, we’re discovering just how much there is to explore when we slow down, look closely, and use our creativity! We’ll be learning about colors and shapes, creating LOTS of art, experimenting with color mixing, playing, imagining, and following clues toward our ultimate color treasure at the end of the week!

Today our campers are becoming official treasure hunters as they:

💎 Count colorful treasure
🔭 Create their own spyglasses
🏴‍☠️ Make pirate eye patches
🗺️ Design treasure maps with shapes
🔎 Search, discover & PLAY!

And our Bible verse for the week fits our adventure perfectly:

We are READY for a week full of messy hands, big imaginations, new discoveries, lots of laughter, and some seriously colorful masterpieces!

🦁 Day 1 of Into the Wild Safari Camp was a ROARING success! 🦁

Today our little explorers arrived and met our very first safari friend of the week—Leo the Lion! What an exciting way to kick off our adventure!

We began by hearing the Bible story of God’s creation, learning that everything around us was made by our amazing Creator. Our campers even practiced hand motions to help memorize this week’s verse:

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” – Genesis 1:1

After our Bible lesson, each explorer created their very own lion craft and designed their very own Safari Adventure Passport! They proudly earned their first safari stamp of the week as they completed today’s adventure.

Next, we set off on a bravery challenge! We talked about what it means to be courageous and help others as our little adventurers rescued our animal friends who had become tangled in vines.

Snack time turned into an adventure of its own as everyone bravely sampled foods with all kinds of textures—from cheese puffs and caramel rice cakes to juicy peaches and even popping boba! Our explorers were so adventurous and willing to try something new!

We also enjoyed two fun stories all about lions, practiced counting through hands-on sensory play, and worked on writing our names.

We are already so proud of this amazing group of little explorers! We can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s safari adventure brings! 🌿🦁💚
