Day 2 of the Tillamook County Fair for our 4-H & FFA kids was an absolute blast! From our poultry showmanship and confirmation to our beef, swine, dairy cattle & meat goat showmanship, dairy goat show, and brand new- our first 4-H/FFA Dance, this day has been nothing short of fun!

Thanks to everyone who supported us today, and showed up to volunteer in our TCCA/4-H Ice Cream Booth. See you tomorrow! 🎡🍀

That's a wrap on the 4-H//FFA shows for day 1 of the Tillamook County Fair! From JLAC shows, to our 4-H/FFA Dairy Conformation, and of course our Rabbit and Cavy Conformation and Showmanship, this day has been full of lots of fun!

Our day was made extra special by a visit from our Governor, Tina Kotek. Thank you for supporting Tillamook County 4-H & FFA.

Good morning, today is the day!! Come out and support all of our FFA and 4-H participants! Joining us today are Chelsea and Maria!🍀

Chelsea is a member of S&S Livestock, and her project this year is her market lamb, and her favorite 4-H memory is showing lambs with her cousins and sister. She remembers getting up early, cleaning her pens, feeding the sheep, and enjoying the yummy 4-H Dorm Meals. She can only think of good memories when thinking of 4-H!

At fair, she is most looking forward to showing her lamb. She is also excited to see all of her 4-H friends and attend the concerts, derby, and all of the other fair events. Good luck Chelsea! 🐑🎡

Maria is a member of the CCB club, and this year she is showing goats, chickens, and turkeys! Her favorite 4-H memory is winning grand champion with her goat during her second year of fair. At fair, she is looking forward to improving her showmanship and trying her best. Good luck Maria! 🐐🎡

Tomorrow is the first official day of fair!! 🎡

Our 4-H'ers have been prepping for a lot longer than that though, and we are so excited to see everyone's smiling faces this week. Joining us on our countdown today are DD and Natalia, two sisters who love all things 4-H! 🍀

DD is a member of both the THRF and CCB 4-H clubs, and her projects this year are market goats and horse. DD was one of our reserve champions in horse, and we are incredibly proud of her growth! At fair, DD is most looking forward to showing and selling her goats after working hard with them. Good luck DD! 🐎🐐

Natalia is a member of the CCB club, and her 4-H project this year is poultry. Natalia was one of the 4-H'ers who participated in our mini-fair with Ukandu, and her poultry knowledge is incredible. Her favorite 4-H memory is participating in Master Showmanship, and she is most looking forward to bringing and showing all of her chickens and turkeys. See you at fair Natalia! 🐔🦃

On Saturday, our 4H Exhibitors brought their projects to be judged! Each 4-H'er brought such a variety of projects, and all of our judges were incredibly kind and helpful.

We also hosted our Cake Decorating and Flower Arranging Contest on Monday, and the kids had such a blast!

Be sure to stop by the exhibit hall August 5th-8th and check out all of our 4-H'ers hard work! You can show a variety of projects in 4-H, from robotics, legos, and educational displays, to vegetables and poultry eggs, plus so much more.

We are thrilled to welcome our community in just a few short days, and we are grateful for your support. Joining us today are Kairo, Ava, Saul, and Laila, all members of the Country Chaos 4-H Club!🍀

Kairo says his favorite memory with 4-H is making snacks, and at fair, he is most looking forward to the games! We feel you Kairo 🍫👾

Ava's favorite 4-H memory is making yummy things and at fair, she is most looking forward to the rides. Can you tell her and Kairo are related? 😆 We also love snacks, games, and rides!

Saul's current 4-H projects are food and nutrition, and he is also doing some art projects! His favorite 4-H memory is making jam, and at fair, he is excited to turn his projects and see the results of his hard work.

Laila is also a member of the Hog Wild 4-H club, and this year she is doing market swine and some exhibit hall projects! Her favorite 4-H memory is painting with her 4-H club, and at fair, she is looking forward to meeting new people and talking about her projects.

Our 4-H and FFA pens are all ready to go thanks to some awesome 4-H and FFA kids, their parents, 4-H Leaders, and some extra volunteers!

What made this event extra special was when we noticed that a rabbit table was down, Hayden Bush (FFA Advisor) made a quick call to Jeremy who made a brand new wooden table that night! We are absolutely blown away and grateful, and this is what 4-H and FFA is all about. Thank you Hayden and Jeremy!

A huge thank you to Tillamook County Creamery Association for donating delicious Ice Cream Bars for our pen set up AND for supporting our youth with the Ice Cream Booth. Our sign ups are almost there, but please continue to fill in shifts. Friday and Saturday night are still low!!
