We had a nice morning doing many different activities. We are moving from 6 and 8 piece board puzzles to 12 piece table puzzles. There was some frustration at first for a couple kid's but almost all the kids ending up doing 4 or 5 puzzles each. We did jungle yoga today and I will add a short video in the comments. 🤗 Looking forward to more fun learning on Thursday.

Happy Tuesday!! We started our morning going outside. It was a beautiful morning. Our letter this week is Cc, number 3, shape triangle and color is yellow. Our verse is Give thanks to the Lord. 1 Chronicles 16:34. For our workout today we were ninjas. Kick, chop, jump, kick. We checked out the yellow mystery color box. Always love to see what we will find in the mystery box.

We have a new addition to the preschool room. The kids have not noticed him yet. You will have to zoom in to find him. We got to play/learn with our zipper bags today. They have different activities in them like color sorting, following a pattern, lacing cards, small puzzles, making shapes and pictures with blocks. To go along with the letter of the week Aa we read a couple books that told us things that started with A or rhymed with A. We have a box every week that will have small objects that match the color of the week. The kids had fun naming all the things that were red that I pulled from the box. We didn't have papers that went home today but we did do lots of fun learning activities. I hope everybody has a great rest of the week and I look forward to learning with your child again next week. ❤️

What a busy morning we had. We got our new verse. Help others. Two is better than one. Ecclesiastical 4:9. We started the letter Aa, the number 1, the color red and the shape circle. We were measured on the wall and we will get measured again at Christmas and at the end of the year. We explored the busy blue drawers and we each got to rotate and try 3 different ones. We used our dot markers a couple of times today. They are a favorite. We also got to bring home book order forms and T-shirt order forms. Have a great day. See you on Thursday.

We have been saying The Pledge of Allegiance at preschool in the morning but today we talked about the stripes and stars and colored a picture of a flag. We are practicing the words and covering our heart with the correct hand. Today they also worked out with an elf for moving time. I hope everybody has a nice 3 day weekend and can't wait to see you again on Tuesday next week.

We add a little bit each week to what will eventually be a regular routine for the preschoolers. Today we added our first verse to learn and we read our devotional. Our verse this week is Work with all your heart. Colossians 3:23. Our first 6 weeks of verses are posted on the wall above where we hang bookbags. When we get these verses done we will start working on memorizing The Lord's prayer. We did yoga today and they really enjoyed it. It was farm yoga so they got to be different animals. It was a beautiful morning and we had fun outside of course. Don't forget this is the last day to go online and order from the August Scholastic book order. 🙏❤️

We listened to Humpty Dumpty and then colored and put bandaid on our own picture of Humpty Dumpty. We gave our fingers a little workout opening the bandaids. We worked on our tracing lines some more and then we went and did some Grinch workout where we hopped on one foot which made us all laugh. Scholastic book orders were sent home today and they have already found some favorite books.

Our first Scholastic book order flyers have come in. New this year all ordering is done online. You scan the QR Code on the bottom of the flyer and make an account and you order online. No more sending money to school. You can order any time you want. Orders this month are due by Tuesday August 29th. Tons more books online than what are in the flyer. Remember, books make great gifts. Start now and just buy a couple every month until Christmas..All orders earn us points to be used to purchase books for our preschool room. Books are such an important part of growing up. Please let me know if you have any questions. 😊👍
