Job Title: Assistant Teacher
The Tigerton School District is looking for applicants interested in a part time daycare worker position, effective immediately. Hours would be flexible to your needs, not exceeding 29 hours per week. Hours would be based on the number of children signed up to attend daycare each day.
Qualifications (include, but not limited to, the following):
• Must be 18 years or older
•Must be CPR certified, either prior to employment or within 6 months of starting (daycare will provide)
•Work well within a team environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be patient, nurturing, and have good communication skills
• Complete the certification courses, either prior to employment or within 12 months of starting (district will provide)
• Must pass a background check and health examination, including a TB test or chest x-ray
The daycare worker will assist in the supervision of children, ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our center is committed to maintaining a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for young children, and our hope is to enhance the lives of every child who attends our facility. The daycare worker should agree with those goals, and work every day to help achieve them.
