The first board meeting of the school year was held tonight.

Parents of students in grades 4-12, you now have access to your student’s Georgia Milestones scores through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Please see the instructions below for step-by-step directions on accessing your student’s scores.

To view your child’s scores:

1. Log in to Infinite Campus (on the app or website).

2. Select Quick Links (on the right side of the page on the website and at the bottom of the page in the app).

3. The SLDS Parent Portal Welcome Page will open. (If you have more than one child in the district, select the appropriate child from the dropdown menu.)

4. Under your child’s name, click the Student Performance icon.

Your child’s Student Performance Dashboard will open, where you can view attendance history and statewide summative test history, including Georgia Milestones scores.

EXCITING NEWS WILDCAT NATION…

This year we had an idea to ask one of our student athletes to draw us a design featuring all of our sports
(Including cheer and the band) as a “Featured Artist” in our Spirit Shop.

This years student artist is MILLIE SOUTHARDS!. Millie is a Sophmore @ Rabun County High School. She plays basketball, soccer and golf. She is very interested in pursuing a career with art.

We would like to do a pre-order poll to see how many would love to have one of these shirts before ordering. Please comment below if you would like to purchase one and the sizes so we have an idea of what to order. They would be available in our Spirit Shop. The shirts will be $15 for kids and $20 for adults.

These would be great for teachers!!!

Last Friday, we were joined by board members, school system staff, local officials, and community members for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new RCHS Academic Center of Excellence.

We are so excited for our students to learn and grow in this state-of-the-art facility!
