On May 27th at the IEC Oregon Training Center in Salem, qualified apprentices came together to take their proctored journeyman exams — and we are proud to celebrate an incredible achievement.

✔️ 24 apprentices passed their exams
✔️ Highest score earned: 94%

These hardworking individuals represent the dedication, skill, and future of the electrical industry. While we are sad to see them complete this chapter of their apprenticeship journey, we couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished and excited for what lies ahead.

Synthia has just completed her 4th year in the Inside Electrical program and continues to set the standard for excellence. She is a straight-A student with perfect attendance, demonstrating an incredible level of dedication and commitment to her education and craft.

Her drive, intelligence, and kindness make her a true inspiration to everyone pursuing a career in the electrical industry. Synthia’s positive attitude and strong work ethic have made a lasting impact on both her classmates and instructors.

In addition to her academic achievements, Synthia also earned 2nd Place at the 2026 Wire Off, showcasing her exceptional skills and professionalism in the trade.

This past Saturday, May 16, IEC Oregon was proud to participate in the 2026 Keizer Iris Parade! It was an incredible opportunity to represent our organization, celebrate our apprenticeship community, and connect with the local community along the parade route.

A special congratulations goes out to our 2026 Apprentice of the Year, Ethan, who was a major highlight of this year’s parade participation! We were honored to showcase their achievement while proudly rolling through Keizer with the IEC Oregon Volt Wagon.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this event such a success. Your enthusiasm and dedication continue to showcase the strength of the IEC Oregon community.
