One of our neighbors on Kameron Way is reporting frequent vandalism between the hours of midnight and 2am. Several youth are seen on home security cameras running up and down the street throwing eggs at a specific house. This happened at least twice the week of January 9th. If you saw or heard anything, please speak up. If you have any information, please comment and we will pass the information on to Washington County Sherriff.
Thanks for being good neighbors.

An email from our HOA Vice President Gil Hansen:
Dear Neighbors,
A few weeks ago, I learned from a close friend who lives within the city limits of Tigard that he received a message from the city that the city that was undergoing a water shortage and asked him to please conserve water use. As you know, we also receive our water from the Tigard public utility. I know that Washington County has reported nothing about a water shortage in our Portland area. There would be no way you would know. In the fourteen years that I have lived here on Kameron Way, it is the first time that I have heard of a water shortage in our area. I asked myself, would I rather have a green lawn or have water coming out of my home faucets? I chose water out of my faucets! So, I have throttled back on my home lawn sprinkler system which I normally have going six days a week at this time of year. I also told our landscape maintenance guy to not use our sprinkler system on the Menlor common property. Yes, it is turning brown right now, but I can live with that until the rains come again. He asked if I could let the HOA know. I said I would, but it is not worth the postage in sending out a letter to everyone. We obviously don’t have everyone’s e-mail address, so if you are ever in discussion with your neighbor about the common property on Menlor, you can share this information with them. To be honest, I have not had one complaint about our common property on Menlor. If there are any complaints about our HOA, I normally get them. You might also tell your neighbor that Dorothy, our HOA Treasurer, would love to have their e-mail address. Her e-mail address is [email protected]. I trust you all have a wonderful summer.

An oldie but goodie!
. When you see this blue dumpster at the intersection of Menlor and Roundtree each quarter, you should know the street sweeper is scheduled to be in our neighborhood in a few days. They use the dumpster as a frequent dropping point for all of the debris they collect in the streets so they don’t have to make trips back to the main garage/holding facility.
The sanitation worker driving the sweeper today said that they actually sweep our streets every month, but place the dumpster in other nearby streets in the other months.
We are lucky to live in an area that diligently maintains street cleanliness.
