Holy cuteness overload! Finally cutting into my stash of Hawaiian fabrics I bought in Maui 2 years ago and what a perfect project for them in the blech rainy fall days! This is cheering me right up!

This fun sampler came together pretty quickly in between getting sick of blues from the Scandie wedding quilt. Used a ton of scraps too!

Still have to make a tedious picket fence rail border - ugh gonna have to psyche myself up to do that one of these nights when I’m bored.

Working on a wedding quilt today and the colors are giving me Scandinavian vibes. 3 more flower borders and the final edge border and will be on the long arm by the weekend. Amazing the progress you can make when the dogs and the hubs are happy doing their own thing for a bit. 😂

Now to figure out what stitch pattern to use!

Custom quilts are my passion. When a client gives me a vague idea and I can turn it into something amazing that speaks to their heart - is the ultimate joy for me. I was asked to incorporate work shirts of my client’s late husband into a big tree of life quilt. I hand cut the trunk and individual leaves, hand turned each and appliquéd on the long arm with a decorative leafy stitch after first stitching a main design on the quilt. Took hours and hours getting each leaf on but man I was happy with the outcome. ❤️
