We were bored today, ha, so we helped spread out 25 dump truck loads of crushed asphalt on the running track and vibration rolled in. D and D Construction came through BIG TIME with the assist! We hope everyone enjoys the fresh surface.

We were asked to convert this area into an amphitheater style setting for events such as movie night, musical singalongs, outside classroom instruction etc. We removed unwanted vegetation and added various rock aggregate and Zoysia sod in its place. The area is notoriously wet with heavy shade so we thinned out what we could and still have some tree pruning to do for filtered sunlight to pe*****te turf but you get the idea. Going to see how this all performs and then shape bedding and add a little landscape one day. Hope you enjoy it!

Top Gun Thunder was our homecoming theme from last year. We wanted to add some flair to the meadows BBQ event for our visitors. Not bad huh?

Uploading these from our visit from the Board of Regents. We really enjoyed the opportunity to showcase our beautiful campus and decided to design and construct this display for a photo opportunity. What do y’all think? Crafty huh? 😎

We planted 20 more trees between the main and south campus (GMA) the last few weeks, through our partnership program with Select Trees. American Elm and Red Oak featured here at the GMA. They will increase our shade canopy tremendously and provide the birds more options to nest. We will post the other trees we planted next week. They were planted around the lake, rodeo, stables and pulling track areas. Enjoy.
