The ABAC Stables has been busy! This week we’ve sprayed fence lines for weeds, started cleaning up around the barns, and mowing pastures to ensure the safety and comfort of all our boarders and equines! 🚜

It’s definitely summer weather in South GA!
Here are some tips and tricks to keep your equines healthy and happy!

- Constant access to clean, cool water 💧
- Help salt and mineral loss with electrolytes 🧂
- Apply fly spray/ fly mask/fly sheets to help with irritation and comfort🪰
- Apply sunscreen to those with sensitive or pink skin and check for sunburns🧴
- Braid/Plaid manes to help with excessive sweating 🐴
- If possible, ride/exercise horses in the early morning or late afternoon 🏇

These tips and tricks are almost essential for making sure our horses stay hydrated and comfortable! Happy Summer! ⛱️
