Mrs. Onyeri’s 5th-grade Gifted Resource class is gearing up to learn all about constructive and destructive forces, but first, they’re starting from the inside out!

Students created their own Play-Doh in class and used it to build models of Earth's layers. This hands-on activity will give students a great reference point as they explore how and why Earth’s surface is constantly changing. 🌎💙

Mrs. Onyeri’s 1st Grade Gifted Resource Class is hard at work! After learning that animals need shelter, students tackled a STEM challenge to build an animal home using only tongue depressors and clothespins. Talk about creativity and problem-solving! 💙

Mrs. Beckham’s class had a "delicious" time learning about the lunar cycle and moon phases today using Oreos. Students explored how the moon appears to change shape over time and discussed the different phases, including the new moon, first quarter, full moon, and last quarter. It was a great way to connect classroom learning with observations they can make in the night sky!
