🚨 EVENT UPDATE 🚨

Due to the weather forecast, Kickin’ Down Barriers Day is moving indoors tomorrow.

The event will still begin at 7 p.m., but will now take place in the Turf Room at the Heminger Center. Check-in will be in the lobby.

We invite the Tiffin community and TU family to join us tomorrow, cheer on our participants and help make this a special evening.

Tiffin University Football is kicking down barriers. 💚

On Saturday, Aug. 22, at 7 p.m., Frost-Kalnow Stadium will be filled with football, celebration and community as TU hosts its first Kickin’ Down Barriers Day.

Individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities will have the opportunity to take the field, play football, cheer and experience their “moment in the sun” alongside TU football players, cheerleaders, band members, family and friends.

We’re inviting TU students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and the entire Tiffin community to fill the stands, cheer on participants and help make this a night to remember.

Kickin’ Down Barriers Day is just the beginning. TU Athletics is also launching the Kickin’ Down Barriers Teammate Program, a year-round initiative focused on building meaningful friendships and creating opportunities for connection, inclusion and belonging.

Primross Chikwaya came to TU from Harare, Zimbabwe, to play collegiate golf. Along the way, her experiences in the classroom, on the course and across campus helped her discover even more possibilities for her future.
