We are a tuition-free, public charter school and newly under the management of ACCEL Schools, an established and award-winning public charter school operator. Our school is co-located with St. Francis Nursing Home next to the Elizabeth Schaffer Apartments. We offer a safe, secure campus with a close community atmosphere and all grade levels on one campus. Additionally, we have a dedicated library,

cafeteria, playground, and gym/theater. Our full-day kindergarten has an early entrance option for students who turn five years old before January 1.

Our First Full Week at Bridges! 🦅✨

What a week it has been at Bridges Preparatory Academy! Our first full week was filled with learning, laughter, creativity, adventure, and plenty of Eagle Pride! 💙

🎨 Kindergarten got creative with paint! Painting gives young learners a chance to explore creativity, strengthen fine-motor skills, practice focus and patience, and express themselves in a hands-on way.

🌳 Grades 1–4 took their first adventure to the park! Time outdoors gives students opportunities to move, explore, build social skills, problem-solve, and learn through real-world experiences. Sometimes the best classroom has no walls! 🌿

And this is just the beginning! We have so many amazing and exciting things happening at Bridges, and we can’t wait to continue showing the Tiffin community all that we have in store for our wonderful students as we grow, evolve, and strive to build Ready, Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Kind members of our community. ❤️

🦋 Camouflage in Action! 🦋

Our 3rd & 4th graders became wildlife scientists today as we explored camouflage and learned why it is so important for animals! 🐾🌿

We discovered how camouflage helps animals blend into their surroundings, stay hidden from predators, and even sneak up on prey. Then, we put our learning to the test! 🎨🔎

Students colored their own butterflies and then hid them around the classroom, creating the perfect camouflage. The real challenge? Could their classmates find them? 👀🦋

Learning science is always more fun when you can see it, create it, and experience it! 💙🦅

🎉 FIRST DAY COMPLETE! 🦅

We’re officially getting into the groove of the 2026–2027 school year! 📚✨

Our hallways were filled with laughter, smiles, learning, and lots of new friendships today. 💙 New names were learned, new friends were made, and our Eagles took those first exciting steps into a brand-new school year!

Now it’s time for those early bedtimes 😴 because tomorrow we do it all again!

🌙✨ ‘Twas the night before the first day of school… ✨🌙

And just like that, the halls of Bridges Preparatory Academy are almost ready to come alive again! 🦅💙

Tomorrow, we’ll welcome our brand-new kindergarten Eagles through our doors — some with big smiles, some with butterflies, and some who may be holding onto Mom or Dad just a little tighter. And that’s okay. 💕 New beginnings can bring a whole lot of feelings!

To our kindergarten families: soak it all in. Take the first-day picture. Fix the backpack straps. Give that extra hug. And maybe shed a little tear when they aren’t looking. 😉 Because before you know it, your little kindergartener will be walking across a stage as a member of the Class of 2039. 🎓

2039. It sounds so far away… but we promise you, it will be here in the blink of an eye.

And to our 8th graders… you may think you’ve got this whole school thing figured out. 😎 You’ve been here. You know the halls. You know the routines. You’ve made the friends.

But surprise… we added bells! 🔔😂

This year, you have an even bigger role to play. You are our oldest Eagles, and our littlest Eagles will be watching you. Be the ones who hold the door. Say hello to a new student. Help someone find their classroom. Include someone at lunch. Show our kindergarteners what it means to be a Bridges Eagle.

Be the leaders you once needed when you were little. 💙

To every student returning tomorrow — whether it’s your very first day or your very last first day at Bridges — we cannot WAIT to see you.

Our halls are ready.
Our teachers are ready.
Our classrooms are ready.
And our hearts are ready. 🥹

Now get some good sleep, Eagles… tomorrow is the beginning of another year filled with learning, laughter, friendships, growing, and making memories.
