🎨✨ ART WAS BROUGHT TO LIFE AT BRIDGES! ✨🍂

A HUGE thank you to Heidelberg University and to Dr. Stacey Pistorva, Shauna Hurles, and Meredith Lucius for taking time out of their busy days to bring the magic of art to Bridges Preparatory Academy! ❤️ These wonderful ladies work at Heidelberg and showed up bright and early at 8 AM today, ready to inspire our K–4 students with the CUTEST seasonal art projects!

We started by reading a book and learning about the seasons, then let our imaginations take over!

🍁 Grades 3–4 became engineers, using their skills to design and create a magical 3D seasonal display.

🌳 Kindergarten created a magical tree that transforms with the changing seasons.

📚 Grades 1–2 became authors and illustrated their very own books about a magic, season-changing tree!

Our Eagles had the BEST time learning, creating, and making a little magic of their own. 🦅✨

And the magic doesn’t stop today! We can’t wait to watch our seasons change. With a little knock, a gentle blow of the wind, and a shake, shake, shake, our leaves will begin to fall! 🍃

So if you happen to see our trees changing with the seasons, just know… it’s the little magicians here at Bridges making it happen! 🪄🍂

Thank you again to Dr. Stacey, Shauna, and Meredith for sharing your creativity, time, and talents with our students. Experiences like these make learning come alive, and we are so grateful for our Heidelberg University community partners! ❤️

Eagle Pride is alive and well at Bridges Prep! 🦅🎨

🇺🇸 Learning to Respect the Flag 🇺🇸

Our students had the special opportunity to learn about flag etiquette and the proper care and handling of the American flag from retired veterans in our community.

They learned about the meaning behind the flag, the rules for displaying and handling it, and why showing respect for our nation’s flag is so important. Students even had the opportunity to practice properly folding the flag themselves.

We are so grateful to these veterans for taking the time to share their knowledge, experiences, and love of country with our students. ❤️🇺🇸

Thank you for helping our students learn not only how to respect the flag, but why it matters.

And a special thank you to MST PUB Tiffin/Sauce Companyfor donating lunch to these hardworking guys as a way to show appreciation for the time they generously donated to our school! 🍔👏

The Tiffin community has truly gone above and beyond for our students and our school. We are so incredibly grateful to be surrounded by businesses and community members who believe in our kids and continue to show up for them.

Atlas Construction Group LLC

A HUGE thank you to Atlas Construction! 🦅💙

For the past two days, their crew has been at Bridges Preparatory Academy, donating their time, hard work, and expertise to help build our new playground! 🛝💪

They don’t work for Bridges—they chose to spend their time helping our kids have a place to play, run, laugh, and make memories. That means so much to our school and our students!

And we have to give these guys an extra shoutout! 👏 If you’re looking for a fence, remodeling, roofing, or other construction work, give Atlas Construction a call, get a quote, and consider hiring these guys! We’ve had the opportunity to see their hard work firsthand, and they have been absolutely incredible to work with.

Thank you, Atlas Construction, for investing in our kids and helping us build something our Eagles will enjoy for years to come! 🦅💙

We appreciate you more than you know! 🤍

🎲🍭 Recognizing our TOP i-Ready Scorers! 🍭🎲

The friendly competition has officially started at Bridges Preparatory Academy! 🦅📚

Our classrooms have been divided into fun teams inspired by some of our favorite games: UNO, Candy Land, Life, Clue, and Monopoly! 🎉

As the year continues, you may start hearing your students come home talking about their Team UNO or Team Candy Land—and THAT is what this is all about! 🙌

We want to motivate our students to give their best, celebrate their growth, and have FUN while learning! 💪📖🎲

And what better way to celebrate our top scorers than with a FREE smoothie! 🥤🎉 A huge thank-you to our friends at Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Tiffin for helping us celebrate our students and their hard work! ❤️

But i-Ready is about so much more than a competition. It gives our teachers valuable information about what our students know, where they are growing, and where we may need to fine-tune instruction and fill important learning gaps. Every lesson, every question, and every bit of progress helps us get our Eagles one step closer to success! 🦅✨

And of course, we’re tying it all back to our 5 Pillars: Ready, Respectful, Responsible, Kind, and Safe. Because when our students show up ready to learn, work hard, support one another, and take responsibility for their growth, they are building skills that go far beyond the classroom. ❤️

Learning + teamwork + friendly competition + FUN = a pretty awesome year at Bridges! 🎲📚🦅

Who doesn’t love that?! 😍🥤
