Samuel Faber is a 10th grader at Columbian High School with the diagnosed visual impairment of Ocular Albinism and Nystagmus. He recently returned from a week in Huntsville, AL where he trained at a NASA camp for students with visual impairments. Today he wore his NASA spacesuit to visit Lincoln preschool and be a special guest in Alex Focht's classroom. Alex is a 4-year-old diagnosed with an unknown Cone-Rod Dystrophy. Alex and Samuel compared their canes and Samuel showed Alex and another visually impaired student his newest magnifier that he received as part of his scholarship from Eschenbach Optik of America. Alex excitedly told his friends, "Samuel's eyes are like mine!," while Samuel presented to Alex and his friends.
