North Central Ohio ESC Parent Mentors

North Central Ohio ESC's Parent Mentors, Sandy Hallett and Paula Frey, applied for and received the Parent Mentor Mini Grant through the Ohio Department of Education. They were awarded $4,000 to supply and distribute parent mentor program information and fidget (sensory) bags to the 16 school districts they collectively serve. Students ranging in age from preschool through high school will benefit from these sensory bags.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course trains participants how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.
