I am still receiving notifications from this site. I'm not sure if you are looking for childcare or just browsing. I came up against alot of red tape thru state and federal regulations.Which caused alot of frustration and the process had literally broke my financial well being and my ambition to continue in this journey.I still fully believe our children need a safe place to come and to recieve teaching and guidance in a loving atmosphere but I could not of helped them all .I have gained some new children in my family thru this process and perhaps that was Gods will to always open my self up to stretching out to help others .To any of you looking for child care I can't reccomend anyone but I beg you to be sure if they are right for your children to help them direct them in a good direction and to lift them up and give them the attention they deserve and not just who maybe convenient for you and your schedule .Raising kids is I believe the greatest privilege God gives us and we have to do our best to bring our kids up in a honorable way .We only get one chance and they are our future.
So thanks to all those who have been there for me and helped me I have learned alot about the process and my dream is still going strong in my heart and as I continue to have the opportunity to help kids I will.I just have to do it at a smaller level and as long as I do this from my home I have to keep my families need in a high priority as well. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT .IT HAS SAID SO MUCH ABOUT WHO WE SURROUND OURSELVES WITH.

I had to go thru a season of letting go and feeling like a failure .To learn the best thing we could do is follow your dreams and if it will be it will and sometimes our plans aren't Gods but he will take us in a greater direction and to where we can fully make the best impact in the lives of those who need us.

Finally this is now a residential home and please be respectable to their privacy and allow this family to thrive in a greater way than I could as a daycare.
I will be closing this page as soon as I can completely let it go .

Just an update: The daycare itself is pretty much ready for inspection.Thanks to my uncle Richard the porches are both painted. We just need to put in a few little things and put a gate up on the back yard.
I had called to set up inspection with CCIS . They felt it would not pass fire code because of the two story but I could use the downstairs and would be limited to 4-6 children and legally im allowed to take care of up to 10 depending on age.As of now I have 3 kids here at home that I watch so it would almost be the same over there. So then I had to call a local inspector. That was also a disappointing conversation .They said if I resided there it would be one two three questions and paper work and I'd be approved but since I will not be living there it turns into a commercial situation and I'll need a liscensed person to draw up a blue print and they said that will cost alot of money. And at this point im not sure if i can put anymore money into it or if it would even be worth it.So therefore im at a "thinking" point . I need to weigh out options and pray for the right direction to go.Everyone tells me to just rent it out and watch kids here.There is alot of stuff that goes into renting it out and I'd have to put money in it either way .CCIS keeps telling me we got kids just waiting for you to open and we aren"t gonna hold you back because we want you to be successful. Do they not understand how hard they make it to open and this is probably why everyone gives up.I feel in my heart that giving up is not an option but I'm barely keeping my head above water with the expenses .And at times feel very stressed . As of now I will continue to still move forward and am keeping my faith that this is what God is calling me to do. But I've never tried to run a business before and not sure if im going about it the right way.At times it seems like my hands are tied.So could you all help me in praying for the situation to get cleared up and for me to know the direction in which God wants me to go.I feel this was to be a blessing not a burden.And i have to put it fully into Gods hands. THANK YOU !!!

The girls and I will be headed for recertification as Daycare providers May 16.Then we can turn in paperwork for state inspection. We should still be on track to open first week or so of June 2018.

We are still finishing up with renovations.I have been sitting for three kids at my home.As I look forward to finishing it up.I have had some of my parents take a walk thru and they seemed to be pleased and are telling me it's gonna be great when it's finished but are also encouraging me that the daycare doesn't have to be all I envisioned. It seems I have great expectations but they are also encouraging me to get up and running within my regulations and then i can keep updating as we go and see what works best.They say the need is of a great sitter that is trust worthy and who cares about the kids and where they feel their kids are gonna be taken care of and be safe. They seem to be pleased with this so far.
I have also been in touch with some potential helpers and as long as i can stay in ratio I have a few slots for the early morning and a few for the afternoon or a few full timers.As of now I have 4 full time kids enrolled and a potential of 7 more part timers that are possibly coming. So if you are thinking about enrolling please contact me soon.Still hoping to be ready when schools out Or shortly after depends when inspection comes .

Since there seems to be decent weather for Saturday I'd like to have a work day .Hopfully the fence will be done and make new steps to the yard , finish the kitchen and a lot of small things still need to get done to pass inspection.
If you are interested in enrolling for the summer Please stop in and I'll take time to sign you up.I know it's only March but we are only allowed so many kids and the summer enrollment is filling up quick.

UPCOMING EVENT: For all those patiently waiting for the opening of the daycare. Here's your chance to check us out. We will be holding a Meet and Greet Open House on Dec.9,2017 from 11 -3. With special guest Alissa Taylor Bailey. She is a local childrens book author of Jerimiah the Squirrel and will be here for her first official book reading. There will also be a northern visitor stopping in to greet children. Light refreshments will be provided.This will be a great time of fun and laughs . So be sure to bring your camara .Hope to see you there !! There will also be enrollment at this time.
